New Community Gazebos Available for Hire

A diverse group of local residents motivated to improve the wellbeing within and across the community. 

Our diversity inherently protects the awareness of different aspirations as the community changes. 

Essentially the Trust represents local people to gain funding for local initiatives and projects that improve wellbeing in a general sense.

Specifically, we receive initiative proposals from the community and match approved proposals with funding from a wide range of providers. 

We look across the full spectrum of NZ funding providers to match the applicant's aspirations with the objectives of the potential fund providers. 

Projects that provide the greatest good for the greatest number of people, without losing sight of the individual, across age, gender and ethnicity.

We also support projects that may not achieve financial support unless aided by a Trust with a proven track record.

Over time, people in our community will feel more connected, events will be well patronised, new ideas will flow, and feedback will be welcome. 

All positive trends that can lead to an increased level of Community Engagement. 

To make the Strath Taieri region an even more connected community, where people love to live, contribute and engage.

We will achieve this by supporting the building of resilience through targeted funding of community initiatives over time.
